The lands of the Rosso Piceno and the 13th edition of Fritto Misto


This program can be organized:

 

  • Day 1: JESI – ASCOLI

Arrival in Jesi, birthplace of Federico II, in the early afternoon - Visit of the gourmet hedquarter of FOOD BRAND MARCHE at Palazzo Baleani and short visit of the old town withTeatro Pergolesi and Palazzo Pianetti with its art gallery – Transfer to Ascoli Piceno  - Accommodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight

  • Day 2: ASCOLI PICENO AND FRITTO MISTO EVENT

Breakfast at hotel and meeting with the guide for the visit of the old town built entirely of travertine marble - You will visit the Square Arringo, St. Emidio Cathedral, the Baptistery of St. John and the Civic Art Gallery - Do not miss a visit to the historic Coffee Meletti Bar in Art Nouveau style, to taste the famous dry anise liqueur Anisetta - Time at leisure for lunch and to participate in the international event called "Fritto Misto" : a show dedicated to fried food from around the world from the fried tender olive Ascoli to the Dutch Bitterballen, the Portuguese Pasteis de Bacalhau, the Modena fried dumplings, which will also be offered in combination with local beers and wines from the Marche region - Dinner at the hotel and overnight.

  • Day 3: RIPATRANSONE - OFFIDA

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Ripatransone, a magnificent medieval village on Piceno hills, famous for the narrowest street in Italy - Lunch and wine tasting at a wine cellar, where you can taste local products accompanied by the best wines of the area such as Passerina, The Falerio and Rosso Piceno wines – In the afternoon transfer to Offida, famous for the Tombolo lace that still is part of the local tradition of craftsmanship – Visit to the Lace Museum and the old town – Tasting of local wines at regional Enoteca, housed in an ancient picturesque bulding - End of services

IT INCLUDES: Overnights in a 4 * hotel in Ascoli Piceno in a double room with half board treatment - Guided tours as to the program - Tastings and lunch in the cellar in Ripatransone - health insurance.
